WELCOME
This site offers a collection of recorded works previously published as tapes and/or CDs over the past several years and now available on-line. All MP3 downloads are high quality 256 kbps files resulting in slightly less than 2Mb of size for each full minute of music.
As a trumpet player turned keyboardist, during the mass introduction of synthesizers and other "portable" electronic keyboards, worked as a contributing writer and producer of various North Star projects.
All selections (except as noted below) were composed, performed, recorded and produced by Kevin Leonard and originally released on the Space Monster Optional Entertainement (SMOE) label.
Future plans include a new recording of traditional orchestral instruments, performing very untraditional orchestral compositions, slated for release in 2009. Meanwhile...as a creative outlet for "feeding the muse" and to share musical perspectives - hope you like these recordings!
